Mr. Shankar Shikdar

Shankar and his wife Lusia have been successfully leading a school ministry in Dhaka. Shankar is a strong administrator since he had the privilege to serve in diverse field. He started his career as Lecturer in English in a Muslim Fundamental Institution. Subsequently he worked with Bangladesh Football Federation as the first Executive Secretary appointed by Asian Football Confederation (AFC), under FIFA Goal Development Project, then Director – International Affairs at Christian Service Society (CSS) and finally as Director – Administration at Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST), the leading human rights and legal aid service organization in Bangladesh.

Shankar has over 15 years experience in the field of teaching, training, administration, management, business development, international relation and human rights activities in different NGOs and Corporate Sector. In addition he is an enlisted business development specialist and expert trainer in the largest professional platform in Bangladesh BDJOBS.COM and a freelance article writer in English News Paper. He has been volunteering in different organizations as education expert & psychosocial counselor.

Shankar served as the honorary General Secretary of the Executive Board of Bangladesh Nazarene Mission (BNM) and the General Secretary of the Church of the Nazarene International for over 10 years. He is one of the 5 founding members of BMC and General Secretary of the board. He wants to materialize the dream of Bangladesh Missionary Movement in native and foreign land. His wife Lusia is the vice principal of the school ministry in Dhaka and a relentless contributor to his work for the Kingdom of God.
